Robert Guest – Company Secretary

Robert Guest, BA (Oxon) has spent his career working as a solicitor in the City of London specialising in financial services. He trained at Clifford Turner (now part of Clifford Chance) and whilst he has worked in private practice, most of career has been spent as an in-house solicitor. He was Head of Legal and Compliance at Johnson Fry until shortly before it was taken over by Legg Mason and he then became General Counsel and Compliance Director at SG Asset Management. Robert holds and has held directorships of several financial services businesses specialising in private equity, hedge funds, fund management, property management, pensions, insurance and investment advice.

For example, Robert is a director of Park Vale Capital Limited, a fund manager, which manages a wide range of investments including but not limited relatively low risk investments for cautious investors. Since 2010, Robert and his four employees at Guest City Consulting have provided part-time in-house legal and compliance services to several businesses in the financial services sector.

He has been involved in devising and launching new financial products and services. Robert and one of his assistants, Alki Stamatatos, have been involved in lobbying MPs and Treasury officials including but not limited to campaigning for redress for investors in the Connaught Income Fund, Series 1 (formerly known as the Guaranteed Low Risk Income Fund) and in assisting a whistleblower to the regulator called George Patellis (who was ignored).

Since 2010, Robert has been a part-time consultant to Farrer & Co solicitors and maintains a practising certificate for that purpose. Robert was educated at Abingdon School and Balliol College Oxford. Robert deals with distribution and retail financial services matters for F2 Financial Care. Robert also advises on media compliance matters including overseeing compliance for media contracts.

Bob Clarke – Marketing Director

Bob Clarke is a business start-up strategist. Originally trained as a writer, producer, and director, he has created, built and launched two TV channels for News Corp, and produced multiple live events worldwide as well as business, daytime, comedy and game show TV series in the UK.

Bob sold his first media production business to Virgin Group plc in 1987 and thereafter founded and ran two communications agencies, pioneering private corporate TV networks and digital out of home media businesses in the UK, China and the US, on behalf of major brands including BMW, Liberty Media, Planet Hollywood, and Tesco among others.

In 1990 he created a charity fund raising vehicle for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme which raised more than £50mn over a 10 year period.

For the last 5 years he has focused on launching and communicating start-ups, including clean technology, public entertainment, extreme sports, social media, and digital out of home media businesses, through his strategy and execution vehicle, Any Other Business LLP ( ).

Bob is a founder shareholder and Board member of digital media publisher, Screen Holdings (, and electronic waste transformation business, WEEE Systems Ltd (, which is committed to revolutionising the levels of CSR support available to large organisations.
