Nicholas Munday – Chairman

Nicholas Munday is a Senior Managing Partner of Clifford Chance LLP the global law firm. He holds various management positions and is one of the firms most senior litigators.

Nicholas has a number of other business interests as an investor linked to his interest in film and media and vintage cars. He has a number of charitable interests including being a member of the development board of a large school, a founding trustee of the International Law Book Facility that distributes books throughout Africa and the Commonwealth.

Clifford Chance is also known for a number of pro bono and charitable projects.

James Daly – CEO

James Daly is a Co-founder of Greenhouse Media Investment, James has worked in both finance and media for over twenty five years. He has major investment experience working as a qualified IFA in both the private and commercial sector at management and Director level. In his capacity as an IFA James has been employed by financial institutions such as the CIS and Sun Alliance and has also successfully managed his own investment brokerage. In the last 10 years he has been actively involved in media both as a producer and writer as well as an investment director.

James has a strong working knowledge of private equity investment for media and has worked as a Director of a film sales company gaining a wide range of experience dealing with sales agents and distributors for global markets in both film and TV. James has attended many film and TV markets and festivals and has a broad understanding of distribution for Film and media content.

For five years James ran a performance arts theatre with his wife and business partner Glenda Daly, and also worked with many different music artists in music management and events and has over thirty years experience as a music performer.

James strongly believes his experience of discovering and working with exciting talent in all forms of media will continue to contribute to the company’s developing success.

Adrian Watney – Company Director

Adrian Watney was educated at Sherborne School. After studying law at the College of Law in London, he was admitted a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in 1967. In 1972 Adrian became a partner in the international law firm Masons (now Pinsent Masons). Adrian’s practise was largely in property law and international private tax, particularly with clients from the Middle East and Scandinavia.

In 1990 Adrian was elected Master (Chairman) of the Mercers Company, the senior City Livery Company with an extensive property portfolio in London, supporting many different charitable causes including education, the arts and the housing and welfare of the elderly.

Adrian found himself increasingly involved in Corporate Governance, serving as Director and as Chairman of many different companies and organisations in UK, Europe and the USA. These businesses ranged across the Technology field, hotels, restaurants, through to education, property development and Asset Management.

Adrian is currently Acting Chairman of Portman Settled Estates Ltd. responsible for some 110 acres of the West End of London of which he is
also a Trustee. He is also Chairman of Porteo Ltd, an asset management company based in Geneva. On the Charitable side, Adrian has served on the Governing bodies of ten schools and colleges in the UK and Sweden, five of which have been ‘start ups’. Amongst other charitable organisations, Adrian is presently Chairman of the immensely important Alzheimers Research UK.

Apart from his qualifications as a Solicitor, Adrian is a Freeman of the City of London and of the Merchant Adventurers of York. He is an Honorary Fellow of Queen Mary College, University of London and he is an Honorary Member of the Faculty of Divinity at Cambridge University.

Adrian is a member of many clubs and other institutions. He has many interests in the sporting field and in the Arts. He is married with four children and six grandchildren.
