No man left behind is the story of a group of young men from Brooklyn who try to do the right thing, only to have everything in their lives go wrong.
After 9/11 this group of 5 friends sign up for the marine reserves, never imagining that just a few years later they’d find themselves deployed to Iraq. Their lives are turned upside down when one of them is killed. The remaining 4 return home vowing to do whatever they can to avenge his death and provide for his wife & kids. But like many returning soldiers they find themselves impotent in civilian life so they turn to what they know.
Using inside information, they devise a plan, a mission, to steal millions in Middle East gold that’s being funneled through a corrupt US bank. When the plan goes wrong, the troop find themselves in a gun battle with security and police and one of them, Michael is wounded and left behind. He finally makes his way to the rendezvous only to find himself alone and the bonds of a lifetime are torn apart – he’s devastated. He embarks on an urban odyssey to discover the truth but can he find it before the police and the mob find him.
