Phil Barnes is a innovative music producer who has recorded and experimented and produced in many styles and has a unique and exciting approach to all his work. Originally from a small town called Farnborough. He found a passion for drum and bass in 2005 when he first heard Fabio and Grooverider  on Radio 1. He came across the liquid side and has never turned back. Now he is trying out different ideas like the deeper side of drum and bass and is doing a lot of experimenting with his music.

Centrik AKA Philbee has been producing for 4 years and djing for 5 years. He regularly gigs in London, Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford, Reading. He has had support from artist like.. Random Movement, Command Strange, Randal, Raiden, A-Sides, Ash Atack, Bailey, Crissy Criss, Spectrasoul.

Centrik AKA Philbee has had tracks signed to Extent Recordings, Celsius Recordings, Influenza media, SoulDeep Recordings.He is now experimenting with his music for other genres like House/Dance music, Under the name Philbee. He is looking to take his music commercial and also to work on film soundtracks with Greenhouse.

No money, no decent job, no moral guidance. That’s when Attila Ambrus decided to make his profession Bank Robbery.

Six years, 30 Banks and two prison sentences later he became a cult hero, only robbing banks never robbing his Hungarian people – always taking a swig of Whisky just before each job, gaining notoriety as The Whiskey Robber, becoming a media star, taunting the police and their inept attempts to capture him and then after a prison break, catch him again! Awaiting his final escape from Hungary, half drunk on Whiskey, complacency sets in and he is eventually caught by Hungarian commandos, who arrest him before he can take his final sip of drink.

Currently serving his 17 year sentence in Hungarian prison is the protagonist of our story – the hockey playing, womanising, bank robbing folk hero Attila Ambrus, AKA The Whiskey Robber.

The Neon Mile formed out of the rubble of yesteryears whims and fancies in early 2011, with a need to establish themselves as a new wave of songwriters who have had the strong vision of bringing the ‘song’ back right to the forefront of guitar based pop, defiantly ignoring the landfill xeroxes of many bands of the previous decade. Perhaps a more anglo- american influence has accounted for some of the stylistic directions the band have taken, citing many influences from 60′s pop/garage rock such as Love and Big Star, right through to 80′s New wave/Indie pop such as The Sound, Echo And The Bunnymen and a hint of often quoted influence Prefab Sprout and early 80′s Bowie!

The band’s debut single “Weight In Gold” – out now on digital download, was described by Simon Reynolds of Soundblab as “A decent stab at folk-infested pop.

Nick was born in Hong Kong and spent the first years of his life in Kowloon,Hong Kong, Dammam, Saudi Arabia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Having been diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome he returned to the UK with his parents in his battle with Tourettes. Whilst undergoing treatment he found a new way to communicate through music. He studied pop music at Salisbury (now Wiltshire) College and found a particular talent in writing and singing pop songs winning a gold award at Dartington College of Music and Arts. The award enabled him to record a few songs with session musicians at Sawmills Studios, Golant. With the help of a voice coach in London he has in his short career gigged across the South West and in renowned London venues including The Roundhouse, The Bedford and The Regal Room.

In January/February 2011 they are touring the UK with the SICK PUPPIES on a 15 date tour around the country and then heading to the USA for the summer.

They have already have label and publisher interest and are going to America in mid-2011 to do showcases and continue writing for their debut album. Playing the legendary Viper Room on June 7th and 10th.

In The dead of night, a merciless band of armed rebels emerged from the jungle to raid St Mary’s Boarding School for Girls. The rebels abduct 139 girls, summoning all her courage and faith, Sister Caroline, a teacher and school nun, tracks the savages back to their jungle camp to demand the girls’ release. Impressed by the nuns bravery, the rebel commander releases 109 of the girls, but keeps 30 to present as gifts to his leader. Over the next few years the captured girls are beaten, raped and forced to commit horrific murders while sister Caroline desperately works to rally parents, the government, The United Nations and even the Pope to aid in rescuing not only her own girls, but the thousands of other children in rebel captivity.

When his mother gives birth to twins, Alex is unable to deal with the situation, feeling lonely now that his parents lavish all their attention on the babies.  Hurt and betrayed, he uses emotional blackmail to persuade his father to grant him his dearest wish:  a TV set for his bedroom.

John Cluster teaches Alex that violence is the answer in ALL situations. A way of life. In times of both war and peace…

At school, a teacher asks her pupils to write an essay about what they want to be when they grow up. Alex entitles his “I want to be a soldier”. This is when he starts to pick on his best friend Max, aided by David and Rodri the class troublemakers. The teacher is concerned about Alex’s  behaviour and suggests his parents take him to a child psychologist. The therapy seems to have a positive effect on Alex who responds to the doctors suggestions and tries to change his behaviour.

In the meantime the situation at home deteriorates when tensions rise between his parents. Their constant arguing and lack of attention towards Alex drives him to be influenced by the teachings of the sadistic Sergeant John Cluster. When his parents make it clear that they intend to go their separate ways Alex becomes distraught and loses control.

He teams up with David, Rodri and Sergeant Cluster to unleash his anger on Max. He beats him up in the school toilets leaving him bruised and crying. His imaginary friend Captain Harry tries to stop him as Eric, Max’s older brother, arrives on the scene and involuntarily stabs Alex in the chest. At this point Alex’s mother arrives to find her little boy covered in blood.

The guys have built up a loyal fan base not only the UK, but also in Belgium and France where they play as often as they can!

The track, “BE MY FRIEND” has been put forward with possible inclusion for the “ROCK BAND” electronic game for all console’s.

They continue to have radio play the world over! In April 2010 the guys were asked to perform unplugged for Janice Long on BBC radio 2.
